Tutorial: Create A Custom Monthly Calendar

Step 2 - Insert A Calendar

Click the Insert Calendar icon on the left side of the screen.

Your mouse will now appear as a "cross hair". Click and drag the cross hair to draw the size of the calendar area you want. (You can easily resize it later.)
