Step 6 - Save PhotoPlus file and Export to a JPG file. |
Save your artwork in PhotoPlus file format (*.spp) to preserve all
of the layers.

From the
File Menu, click
Save As.
Name the file and click
Save to
save the file in a location on your hard drive.

Make the trim guide layer invisible by
clicking the open
eye icon to closed.
Note: You don't want to print the trim guide. A
professional printer requires the extra 1/4" bleed area artwork
to give them extra artwork for trimming.

From the
File Menu, click
Export.

Select
JPEG Interchange Format from the drop-down
menu
Name the file and click
Save to
save the file in a location on your hard drive.
Open the JPG file you just created to ensure that it looks the
way you intended. Also, check the resolution (dpi - dots per inch)
to ensure it is at least 175.
From the File Menu, click Open.
Browse for the JPG file and click Open.
From the Image Menu, click Image size...
The minimum resolution is 175 dpi. Your settings
should appear as below. (Note: The
template dpi is 200.)
