Guidelines for installing your free software
1. Click the Download Now link on the Download
Now page for your required product.
Note: This link points directly to the file you need to
download. With some browsers you may need to right click and then select the
option
that allows you to save the target to disk.
2. Your web browser's File Download Screen will open. For
example, if you are using Internet Explorer it might look like this:

3. Save the file to disk. Be sure to make a note of the location
you save it to. You may like to save it to your desktop so it is easy to
find.
4. After the download has completed, run the file (by double
clicking it).
5. Follow the steps in the Setup wizard to install your
free software (an example of the PagePlus SE Setup wizard is shown below).

- To begin the wizard click Next.
- Read the license agreement. You must agree to these terms if you wish
to continue. To continue, click Yes.
- Enter your name and company. If you don't work for a company, you can leave
this blank.
- Choose where on your computer you would like to install your software.
If you're not sure, use the default setting.
- If required, select the appropriate paper size. If you live in the United
States, select 'US Standard (letter size paper)'. Otherwise select 'UK and
the rest of the world (A4 paper)'.
- Review your selections on the final page of the wizard. If you are happy
with your selections, click Next to install the software.
- Click Finish to complete the installation and run the
software.
Guidelines for registering your free software
1. The first time you run your free software, the Serif Registration
Wizard will appear. In order to start using PhotoPlus you will need to register
online.
2. Click "Start Registration" to connect to the
internet and start the registration process. Make sure you're connected to the
internet. Your software will need to access our website in order to send you
your registration key.

3. Enter the details requested. Please make
sure your details are accurate as we will send your registration key to the
email address you provide. You will need to enter this registration key later
in the process in order to continue using your free software.

5. Click the Next button. A
page will appear to let you know that we have sent your registration key to
the email address you provided. We recommend you take the time to join the Serif
community while you're online.
6. Check your inbox. You should have received
an email from donotreply@freeserifsoftware.com. This email
contains your registration key. If you have not received this email, please
follow the steps below:
a. Wait 10 mins to see if the email has simply been delayed.
b. If your email client (for example Outlook) has a Send/ Receive button,
click it.
If you have still not received our email, please follow these
further instructions:
a. Add donotreply@freeserifsoftware.com to
your list of known or trusted email addresses. This is often referred
to as a
safe
list
or white
list. Alternatively you could temporarily disable your spam filter.
b. Close the software down. Restart the software and repeat the registration
process. This will re-generate your registration key email.
c. If you have still not received your registration key after trying all
of the above steps, please contact support.
7. Return to your free software. You should
see the screen below.

8. Your registration key has been emailed
to you. Enter your registration key in the box. Click the Next button.
If your key doesn't work, please follow the steps below:
a. Double-check that the registration key is entered correctly
as it is case sensitive. We recommend that you cut & paste directly
from the email.
b. If you have downloaded more than one program from FreeSerifSoftware.com,
please check that you are attempting to unlock the right bit of software.
It sounds obvious, but you'd be surprised how often it happens!
9. If your registration key still fails to
work, please restart the software and repeat the registration process to
generate a new registration
key.
